Train the Trainer

Salix Ecology has devised  a unique CPD workshop to train CIEEM tutors and others in teaching skills to deliver ecology courses. The Train the Trainer workshop is ideal for anyone delivering ecology and environmental-related CPD training events. See our training page for more details

NVC Survey of Richmond Park

Salix Ecology, in Partnership with Denis Vickers,  was commissioned to carry out National Vegetation Classification (NVC), ragwort and bramble surveys of the grasslands of Richmond Park National Nature Reserve. Twenty vegetation types were identified across the Park including a number of acid grassland communities as well as purple moor-grass and rush pastures, habitats of Principle Importance (formerly BAP habitats).

Biodiversity Survey of Barking and Dagenham

Salix Ecology, in Partnership with Denis Vickers  surveyed the Sites of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINCS) and other open spaces in the borough during the summer of 2016. Recommendations were provided to re-grade a number of sites as well as to designate 11 new sites as a result of the survey.
